It's been long noted that the Chinese New Year and Robbie Burns day falls on fairly close days of the year... so they decided to combine the evets to "Gung haggis fat choy" a multi-ethnic celebration. To celebrate at SFU, one event is this silly thing called dragon cart races where they load people in a rickety wooden box with wheel and propulsion comes from crutches pounding the ground. While it certainly wasn't close to the the day, new students in the Campus Orientation programme, while being shepherded through the school were given a taste of some of the things that happen on campus.
