Came across someone in fine arts doing a really neat project. As a dancer, she was taking photos, video and was going to perform for her piece that allowed the exploration of how the different media captured different aspects of her art. She noted was how photographs have definite rules for composition and video added the element of time (but didn't capture depth due to motion being caught to a flat media) So presenting each of the media covering the same thing, she would be able to show how they differ or at least not be able to capture the full effect of the actual show. Interesting stuff.
Anyways, I need to sleep. There's a final coming up on friday for the Population Dynamics course I'm taking and I'm still flakey on all the details. Need to cram some more into head! Man, I really can do with being smarter; too bad there are no upgrades available... maybe one day, if I live long enough. They've already got work started on providing
artificial data feeds into the visual cortex perhaps one day it'll be memory access too. Won't that be wacky though hey? I wonder what the head shrinkers would say about identity and all that once wet memory cybernetics become commonplace....
