Occasionally things thought buried come back and throw me for a loop. I know, cryptic, what can I say... this is the eennntteerrrneeet and I can be as mysterious (or annoyingly abstruse, for when I'm not obtuse) as I feel like! I can also say things without giving proper citations nor evidence and if you don't like that you're a nazi... Damn, I just lost by way of
Godwin's law. Who reads this drivel anyways?
I took these images around the West Mall Complex of
SFU on Monday while waiting for my Plant Physiology class to begin. Wow, I may only need one more semester before I
finally finish my degree. Who'd of thunk that? I should pinch myself to make sure.
Final exam of the semester the following Wednesday. After that, the real work commences: I need to finish a paper that's desperately begging for some love and attention.
For the geeky sort, the current status of the
ming/flash movie thingy is
here. I need to get all the various chunks of code working together and have it so that it queries my CGIs, which would reply with an image/audio/text script that the flash movie would use to integrate the elements together. For some reason, I've got a hankering to do something like a photodocumentary and ever so slowly am assembling the tools together. Perhaps when I grad, I'll start working on hacking up
fSpot or another image gallery program so that it can present an audio-track alongside photos for fast publishing. Need to experiment some before the nature of how such a tool would work makes itself apparent.
