Stopped by work tonight. It's the building in the background. Called the Sun Tower, back in the early 1900s, it was apparently the tallest building in the British Empire. That lasted for about as long as a sneeze as another building promptly took the honour.

According to the wikipedia article, back in 1920, Harry Houdini suspended himself from the top!

About the building in the image. I believe in the past it was a bunch of self-storage places but with the changing times and the local area undergoing gentrification, developers got their fingers on the rights to it and are now turning it into trendy apartment complexes.
