A friend of mine is looking for a roommate:

I'm in need of a roommate for September 1st as my current one is moving away to grad school. (I'll miss you manda!) I don't bite, I've had all my shots and I'm rarely around home (always working). I'm also house trained.

The place? It's a 900sq. foot basement suite in an old house. (The landlords live upstairs... really nice people!) All the utilities are covered (including digital cable and wireless Internet). Well, except telephone. I just use a cell, so you'll have to make arrangements yourself if you want a landline put in. This abode has in-house laundry, of course. Comes mostly furnished, except for your bedroom (and you get the bigger one... just because I'm too lazy to move my stuff over). Best of all, it's a block from Commercial Drive (where all your shopping, cultural, eating and drinking needs can be met with ease.) No smoking is allowed in the house and we're not allowed pets, unfortunately, but there's a nice big back yard. Rent is $550. Gender doesn't matter.
